R0k B0tt0m style

Right after a bad run in with security, little bit of arguing, getting kicked out of our sweet area by a stingy HOA for knocking doors, we went and hit up their local private lake. Booyah!

Yo fellas (and visitors)! I just had a few pics I wanted to throw up to remind us of the good old times. This was thanksgiving day 2005. We took a nice ride on Orson A-Chevron and had the driver of the day, Tommy Gun, take us up for a ride down from the golf course. Those are definitely two of the most classic rides for the Krew and thought you all might enjoy the memories.

This is a pic of one of my worst wrecks I was extremely lucky in that I had a leather wallet in my back pocket that I was able to flip onto and slide most of it out on that...and I was also lucky that Dylan, who was passing me in his car as I turned right in front of him, didn't hit me!

Here are a few pics from the latest river boarding trip. It was super cool to have so many people there. Tanner Bic threw down the first 360 ever (that I am aware of). And new stylee stalls and such were being tried by all. We missed those unable to attend but will def get you next time!

-Love you all, J-LO

Shout Out from DC!!!

Man, this blog has to be the best thing that ever happened to Colby, Dan, and I... hey it keeps us entertained on those rainy days here in Washington DC when we cant be out riding the concrete wave everywhere in between our small town of Frederick, MD and DC, including the metro. so far, this is how we've been able to keep in the best touch with each other this summer. Colby is coming home from Canada as i speak. he just finished his 3 month stent selling for pinnacle security with an all time personal high of 148 sells... lets just say, dinner's on you colbs when we all meet up again. its a little hard to keep in great touch like this when you live about 3 thousand miles away from each other. Oh wait, make that about 5 thousand. my point is that this blog makes it so there is still unity among us.
About three weeks ago, my pocket phone randomly decided to butt dial D-Watt (ironic that all of my blogs so far talk about him). luckily I heard his yelling into the phone and was able to pick up. I happened to catch him while he and the rest of L-town where getting together for another one of those summer time BBQ's that you dream about all winter long. You know, the ones that include a nice juicy steak, bonfire, roasted marshmallows and starbursts, matte, good company, friends you haven't seen in a while, Frisbee golf, botchy ball, volleyball, and/or the beach? so you can imagine how green with envy I was to hear this and how badly I wanted to be there. speaking of which, Dan, I wonder what everyone is up to right now?
Hey everyone, feel free to pitch in on this blog, its here for us to have fun with. post pics of everything you've been up to, places you've been, or any crazy film you have. If its sick, WE WANT IT! Let us all know how you are doing! You should have received a special invitation VIA E-mail, allowing you to contribute. However, due to lack of every one's address's you may be missing one. If you are, and feel that you should have it, please text Dan, Colbs, I or just comment here, and your request will be graciously considered. :D

Stay Sweet,

Seany

good times in PC

Here's to volunteer work up in PC. We might have only been payed in skier money but we got to dine with the stars!

Let us not forget...

here's to memories. this had to have been the worst case of steezy road rash any of us has ever seen. unfortunately none of the krew was even there to witness the actual event which took place in the summer of 05 near farmington, UT. the worst crash the crew has seen to date put D-Watt on a 10 minute lifeflight. His first heli ride that he will never remember. after more than a whole month of recuperation, he finally made it to anchorage, after the church postponed his mission due to a traumatic brain injury.

One of the best memories some of us have of this was when we went to visit him at the University hospital in Salt lake City, Utah (also there to longboard :). we showed up just in time for this hot chick, claiming to be his nurse, came in to remove the pluming from his tool. Watt, at least the U has an endless supply of nursing students. I recomend that hospital to anyone. cool thing is, several of us on the krew also work there so we will see you right on through to
recovery.

toast to the crew

With this special occasion and opportunity to reunite, I would like to raise my glass of "gin on the rocks" and say, "Rok Bottom"

How to be part of Rok Bottom Krew!

WARNING!!! These pictures are a little gruesome but this is how Rok Bottom was created. Back in 2005, Daniel Edinger stole Colby Leatham's longboard when he left on his mission. He started getting all the bro's into longboarding and convincing them to get longboards. It wasn't so common previous but it turned out to be one of the biggest, most adrenaline rush activities we all loved. Apparently to be in the "Krew" you had to take a pretty hard fall. I guess that is like initiation to get into the "Krew". Over a few years, we just decided that anyone could join as long as they loved longboarding as much as we did. They don't have to fall and almost die anymore.
We have members all over and want this blog to inform everyone about the hills we recently bombed or what cool things we are doing. We all snowboard/ski, camp, hike, jump, and do other crazy things together. If you have anything you want posted or announced then email Colby at laoleatham@gmail.com

Daniel is completely healed from this fall and learned a very powerful lesson about wearing a helmet from now on when going really fast. He had to get staples in his head.
